Program M, 20 minutes
Slow Flow
the long exhale.
Long holds, soft breath, end ranges met by patience rather than force. A twenty-minute nervous-system reset you can run anywhere. Follow Dynamic or Strong with it for a full-body day, or take it alone and sleep better.
Duration
20 minutes
I. Premise
Flexibility is a nervous-system trait before it is a tissue trait. Slow Flow trains both in twenty minutes on the floor, with no equipment and no hurry. The closing module of a longer ritual, or the entire ritual.
II. A session
Twenty minutes,
composed.
A representative practice. Pair with a different flow, Dynamic, Slow or Strong, to compose a longer ritual. Breath sets the tempo, not the clock.
00:00
Breath, two minutes
Four-in, six-out. The session opens here.
00:02
Supine hip openers
Figure-four, happy baby. Two minutes per side, breath continuous.
00:04
Frog, three minutes
Sink on the exhale. Never force. The hips open in their own time.
00:07
Pigeon, two minutes per side
Supported. Breath in the belly. The mind still.
00:11
Seated forward fold, three minutes
Back-line lengthened. Eyes soft.
00:14
Supine twist, two minutes per side
The spine releases. The exhale longer than the inhale.
00:18
Legs up the wall, two minutes
Down-regulation. The session integrates.
00:20
Stillness
Re-enter the day, without rush.
III. Outcomes
What changes,
properly.
We do not promise transformation. We describe the shifts our practitioners consistently report, measured in months, not weeks.
- 01
Range of motion that lasts beyond the twenty-minute session.
- 02
Hips that hinge without back compensation.
- 03
Sleep that deepens within weeks.
- 04
The natural closer to Dynamic or Strong, or a ritual on its own.
